BANA to Hold 2023 Spring Meeting May 8–10, at the Library of Congress

The Braille Authority of North America (BANA) will hold its 2023 spring meeting in Washington, DC, May 8 through 10. This meeting is being hosted by the National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled (NLS). The meetings will be held at the Library of Congress in the Madison Building located at 101 Independence Avenue SE, Washington, DC. 20540.

This meeting will be held in conjunction with the DAISY Consortium, which will hold its Annual General Meeting on May 9. On Wednesday, May 10, BANA and DAISY will hold a joint meeting.

Items on the BANA Board’s agenda include a review of formal reports from BANA's technical committees such as, Nemeth, chemistry, and tactile graphics, as well as its general committees and task forces, such as the BANA General Committee on UEB and the BANA Publications Committee. BANA will act on recommendations and will issue committee charges when appropriate.
