BANA now offers the Guidelines and Standards for Tactile Graphics, 2010 publication in two versions: an online HTML file and a zipped PDF file that can be downloaded and printed. This PDF file has been developed for accessibility. See below for links to each version.
PDF version: This printable, PDF version of the Guidelines and Standards for Tactile Graphics, 2010 has been designed with accessibility in mind. The document is fully navigable using bookmarks, and screen reader users can navigate to all major sections using headings. Special care has also been taken to make tables and charts accessible. This is a large file that is available as a compressed file for downloading. When prompted, choose "Save".
HTML version: This online version of the Guidelines and Standards for Tactile Graphics, 2010 can be searched using standard text commands. The html version is not formatted for printing. Optional download copy of the online version - February 2012 may be saved to a drive or CD. After unzipping this folder, click on RUN.html to access the content.
Publication Note: Hardcopy print and braille editions, along with the supplement of tactile graphic examples, will be produced for sale. A hardcopy supplement, which includes an array of actual tactile examples, is also being produced and will be available for purchase.
